Viking Coffee was founded by none other than the Viking himself ; Lynden Vikingur. Of Icelandic and Australian decent, an oil and gas analyst, he had worked himself through University as a Barista, mastering the art at some of the biggest and most well known Expresso shops in Perth, Western Australia, including the first ever Dome in the world.That was in late 2008 and oil was $140 a barrel. But then things took a turn and the credit crunch hit. For almost a month, there was no work. Meeting after meeting at coffee shop only lead to more frustration. Worst still was that he had to drink it down with lousy coffee.
