| Description: | Pyrogard Technologies was formed in 1993 to design and manufacture fire alarm control systems. Pyrogard is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sealand Resources Pte Ltd, which has been marketing fire detection and suppression systems since 1973. The name is derived from “Pyro”, which is the Greek word for fire, and a synonym for the word “guard”.
From its inception, Pyrogard set out to meet global standards long before its competitors. Pyrogard’s original control panel, the MTX, was the first panel to move away from the traditional rotary switches, and the first to incorporate an LCD. The MTX was also the first to incorporate user friendly symbols for the main control switches for easy recognition. |
