Welcome to Oosters, Singapore's first traditional Belgian brasserie. We opened in early January 2004 and have been educating people in the love of beer and great food ever since. You can find us at Capital Square Three (just opposite Far East Square), a mere 5 minutes walk away from Raffles Place in the heart of the central business district."Why a Belgian Brasserie in Singapore?" you may ask. Well, over a few very mediocre lagers in the small city state a few lovers of the golden brew, unanimously agreeing that Singapore just didn't have enough good beers available for a modern cosmopolitan city, decided to open our own tribute to the world's greatest brewing nation. So, without further ado we jumped on the first available flight to Belgium, engaged in a hectic schedule to select the best beer and food the country had to offer...a nd Oosters Belgian Brasserie was born .
