One of the pioneers for Ipoh Hor Fun in Singapore, Lee Tong Kee offers all the authentic hor fun steeped not only in delectable gravy but brings out the aroma and taste, appealing precisely to the very demanding taste buds of Ipoh Hor Fun Lovers. It began not in Ipoh but in a coffeeshop in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown in 1948. Mr lee's culinary skills apparently won him fame and he came over to Singapore in 1969 to start a branch in Tanjong Pagar Road. The outlet in Singapore has since upgraded from a coffee shop to a restaurant at the present locality and is managed by one of his children, Jilian.
