Halijah Travel was established in Singapore in 1991 by the late Hajjah Halijah A H Almunawarrah. Over the years it has won the confidence of the public, especially the Malay-Muslim community, for providing reliable and value-for-money tour & travel packages. This is reflected in the large number of regular clientele and compliments received. A substantial portion of the company's business is Haj and Umrah pilgrimages. Tours and travel packages to other destinations, such as Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, the Middle East, Uzbekistan, are also organised.
