Starting out as a cafe in 1989 inside a humble bowling center, Jackie’s Bowl along East Coast Road, Different Taste has since become a full-fledged restaurant spanning over 4 outlets in various locations in Singapore.The café was the first in Singapore to serve local delights inside a bowling center. On top of the usual fare of curry puffs, chicken pies, sandwiches, and hot dogs that was on the menu then at Different Taste Café, it also featured Curry Fish Head and other “Zhi Char” dishes like Foo Yong Omelet, Chicken Prawn Paste, Honey Pork Spare Ribs and Sweet & Sour Sliced Fish just to name a few.
