Advance Apparel, a company that fuses high fashion style with a hip sensibility was established by David Wang in1983. He started off conceptualising designing and producing lines for Singapore and Malaysia stores such as Isetan, Yaohan and Metro.Later on in 1989, David Wang roped in Daniel Yam, a Singapore Designer in his own right. Together, their first priority was to advance from producing strictly for department stores to designing clothes that could stand on their own in the most exclusive boutiques.
