40 Hands is a new bar and cafe tucked away in charming Tiong Bahru. We focus on substainably produced specialty coffee, stocking Fair Trade and Direct Trade coffee beans. We want to make you the best coffee. We also want to help make sure that coffee growers (the people who do all the hard work) are getting the best deal. Come in and get hooked on the delicious and aromatic house blend or try one of our special micro-lot and single origin coffees we rotate through the store each week. All our coffees are lovely hand-crafted by baristas who receive months of intensive training. No blind button-pressing here. We like food too! Yummy cakes, pastries and super-gourmet sandwiches made fresh daily. Scrumptious weekend brunch. Dinner bites and alcohol are from mid-week.
